What's New in RZMS

We regularly update the Root Zone Management System to implement new features, improvements and fixes.

Version 3.2 (30 October 2024)

  • Added Identity Verification for credentialed users. See the Identity Verification user guide for details.
  • Enabled Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for users who have completed Identity Verification. MFA can be activated from the Settings page in RZMS.
  • Enhanced the RZMS API and added an Operation Test and Evaluation (OTE) environment. See the RZMS API user guide for details.
  • Fixed an issue that may have contributed to email being discarded by some mail servers.
  • Updated internal frameworks.

Version 3.0.1 (13 December 2022)

  • A new authorization model that enables TLD Managers to define more than two approvers, and configure approval thresholds based on the type of change requests.
  • Support for multiple concurrent change requests.
  • An Application Programming Interface (API) for TLD managers to submit change requests and manage the change request lifecycle.
  • Changes to shared glue address records no longer require consent from all impacted TLDs.
  • Additional checks within the existing technical name server requirments, such as the enforcement of network diversity for IPv6 networks.
  • Significant redesign of the TLD manager interface.

Note: Version 3.0.0 was not released.
